……….bells on bob tails ring, making spirits bright, what fun it is to laugh and sing, a sleighing song tonight……
For years, our Annual Christmas Ball has been a tradition that we hold dear and it has become an event that many of us have embraced as part of our celebrations of the season; it’s an opportunity of us coming together as a group to enjoy some great music, food and dancing, and at the same time support the good cause of our Association.
We changed our venue to Sheraton Parkway Hotel this year and the hotel was kind enough to give us an extra room to house our event, so our dance hall was twice as big as last year. After the reception, and by the time we were seated, our Master of Ceremony, Jason, was able to demonstrate his magical power of immediately bringing us into the swing of the Christmas celebration. We had lots of beautiful songs from Joe, our singer and brother of Jason, we had games that we all participated, and we had dancing and dancing all through the night.
The highlight of the evening was the raffle draws, prices included several 10 days Shanghai Pre-Expo Tour for 2 persons, a Netbook, a Mini Laptop and a 40” Sony Bravia HD TV. Congratulations to all the winners, especially to the Mary Liu Family who had won the 40” Sony Bravia HD TV two years in a row.
